1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and FurFinds, operated by Luxurious Oasis LLC (“FurFinds,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using the FurFinds Platform and Services, including our website (furfinds.app), mobile applications, waitlist, verification services, business directory, or any other current or future services we provide (collectively, the “Platform and Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you are using the Platform and Services on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms, and “you” refers to both you and that business.

FurFinds may introduce additional features, services, products, membership options, verification programs, or technologies over time. These Terms apply to all current and future services unless otherwise stated.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform and Services.

2. Description of Services

FurFinds is a pet-friendly business verification platform that evaluates businesses against our pet-friendly standards and assigns verification tiers to those that qualify. The Platform and Services serve two primary groups:

Pet Owners: Users who use the Platform to discover and find verified pet-friendly businesses.

Business Owners: Businesses that apply to be listed and verified on the Platform.

FurFinds uses three verification tiers:

  • “Pets Allowed” — Basic pet access with standard accommodations
  • “Pet-Friendly” — Welcoming environment with dedicated pet amenities
  • “Pet-Inclusive” — Full integration of pets into the business experience

Verification tier assignments are made at the sole discretion of FurFinds based on our evaluation criteria. Tier assignments are not guaranteed and may change upon re-evaluation.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform and Services. By using the Platform, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

To be eligible for business verification, a business must operate as a physical, brick-and-mortar establishment. Online-only businesses are not currently eligible for verification.

4. Business Accounts and Verification

4.1 Application Process

Businesses that wish to be listed on FurFinds may submit a verification application through the Platform. Submission of an application does not guarantee verification or listing. FurFinds reserves the right to approve or deny any application at its sole discretion.

4.2 Fees and Pricing

Certain features or services offered by FurFinds may require payment. Current pricing, application fees, subscription plans, and billing terms will be presented to businesses during the application or onboarding process. By proceeding with a paid service, the business agrees to the pricing and billing terms in effect at that time.

FurFinds reserves the right to modify pricing or introduce new pricing plans in the future. Any changes will not affect existing subscriptions until the applicable renewal period or as otherwise communicated.

Any non-refundable fees will be clearly disclosed prior to payment. Submitting an application or payment does not guarantee verification or listing approval.

4.3 Free Trial

FurFinds may offer a free trial period to verified businesses upon approval. The duration, start date, and terms of any free trial will be communicated during the onboarding process and are subject to change.

4.4 Paid Subscriptions

After any applicable free trial period, continued listing on the Platform and access to paid features may require a paid subscription. Subscription tiers, pricing, and included features will be presented to businesses during the application or onboarding process.

One week before any free trial expires, FurFinds may send the business information about subscription options. If no subscription is initiated and the trial ends, the business listing may transition to an unclaimed or limited status, in which the business’s verified badge may not display and certain features may no longer be available.

4.5 Subscription Cancellation

Business owners may cancel their subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. FurFinds does not offer refunds for partial billing periods unless otherwise required by applicable law.

4.6 Accuracy of Information

By submitting a verification application, businesses represent and warrant that all information provided is accurate, complete, and current. Providing false or misleading information is grounds for immediate removal from the Platform without refund.

5. Verification Standards and Decisions

FurFinds maintains internal and public-facing verification standards that define our pet-friendly criteria. FurFinds may use automated technologies, including artificial intelligence, to assist in evaluating information submitted by businesses and publicly available information. All final verification decisions are made by FurFinds.

All verification decisions — including tier assignments, approvals, denials, suspensions, and removals — are made at the sole discretion of FurFinds. FurFinds does not guarantee that any business will be verified or assigned a particular tier.

Businesses may appeal a denial or removal decision by contacting furfinds@outlook.com within 15 days of receiving the decision. FurFinds will review the appeal and provide a final decision within a reasonable timeframe. FurFinds’ appeal decision is final.

6. Ongoing Verification and Re-Evaluation

To help maintain the accuracy and integrity of the Platform, FurFinds may periodically re-evaluate verified businesses using publicly available information, customer feedback, business-provided updates, and other relevant sources. Re-evaluations may result in a business’s verification status or tier being updated, suspended, or removed at FurFinds’ sole discretion.

FurFinds reserves the right to modify, suspend, remove, or revoke a business’s verification status or verification tier at any time based on re-evaluation findings, updated information, policy changes, or other factors deemed relevant by FurFinds.

By maintaining a listing on the Platform, businesses agree to cooperate with re-evaluations as a condition of their continued verified status. This may include responding to requests for updated information within a reasonable timeframe. FurFinds will endeavor to contact businesses in advance of scheduled re-evaluations.

FurFinds may also conduct unannounced evaluations of verified businesses through our Secret Shopper Program or other evaluation methods at any time.

7. Badge Suspension and Removal

FurFinds reserves the right to suspend or remove a business’s verification badge under the following circumstances:

  • The business fails re-evaluation or does not cooperate with re-evaluation requests
  • FurFinds receives substantiated complaints about the business’s treatment of animals or pet owners
  • The business provides false or misleading information in its application or communications with FurFinds
  • The business engages in conduct inconsistent with FurFinds’ core values of trust, safety, transparency, pet-inclusion, and community
  • The business’s paid subscription lapses and is not renewed
  • Re-evaluation findings indicate the business no longer meets the standards of its assigned tier

Before suspension, FurFinds will generally endeavor to notify the business and provide a reasonable opportunity to remediate. In cases involving serious animal harm, fraud, or willful misconduct, FurFinds may suspend a badge immediately without prior notice.

Badge removals are permanent pending a successful appeal. Removed businesses may be ineligible to reapply for a period determined by FurFinds at its sole discretion.

8. User-Generated Content and Reviews

The Platform and Services may allow pet owners and users to submit reviews, ratings, photos, and other content (“User Content”). Users are responsible for ensuring that any reviews or other content they submit are truthful, based on their genuine experiences, and comply with these Terms. By submitting User Content, you grant FurFinds a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content on the Platform and in connection with FurFinds’ marketing and communications.

FurFinds reserves the right to review, moderate, or remove any content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or the integrity of the Platform, at its sole discretion. You may not submit User Content that is false, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, obscene, or otherwise unlawful.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform and Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in any application or communication
  • Attempt to manipulate or game the verification process
  • Scrape, copy, or republish Platform content without FurFinds’ written permission
  • Use the FurFinds name, logo, badge, or verification marks without authorization
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Platform and Services
  • Use automated tools to access the Platform without FurFinds’ permission
  • Harass, threaten, or harm other users, businesses, or FurFinds personnel
  • Impersonate FurFinds, its team, or any other person or entity

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including but not limited to the FurFinds name, logo, branding, verification badges, verification tier names, Platform content, written materials, design elements, software, and proprietary verification methodology — is owned by or licensed to FurFinds and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. FurFinds’ verification framework and methodology, including the standards, criteria, and processes used to evaluate and classify pet-friendly businesses, constitute proprietary intellectual property of FurFinds.

Verified businesses may have access to a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to display the FurFinds verification badge assigned to them, solely to accurately represent their verified status. This license is revoked immediately upon badge suspension or removal.

Businesses may not alter, modify, copy, reproduce, or misrepresent FurFinds badges, tier designations, or any other FurFinds intellectual property in any way.

11. Verification Disclaimer

Verification reflects FurFinds’ assessment of a business based on the information available at the time of review. While FurFinds conducts periodic re-evaluations and strives to maintain accurate information, verification is not a guarantee of a business’s future conduct, safety, legal compliance, or customer experience.

Users should exercise their own judgment when interacting with any business listed on the Platform. FurFinds is not responsible for the actions, omissions, products, or services of any verified or listed business.

THE PLATFORM AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. FURFINDS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
FURFINDS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM AND SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. FURFINDS DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF ANY BUSINESS INFORMATION, REVIEWS, OR VERIFICATION DECISIONS DISPLAYED ON THE PLATFORM.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FURFINDS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM AND SERVICES, EVEN IF FURFINDS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
FURFINDS’ TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO FURFINDS IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00).

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FurFinds, its owner, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Platform and Services; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform and Services shall first be submitted to good-faith informal negotiation by emailing furfinds@outlook.com. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, it shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, seated in Atlanta, Georgia. You waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

FurFinds may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property rights.

15. Termination

FurFinds may terminate or suspend your access to the Platform and Services at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform immediately ceases.

You may stop using the Platform at any time. Business owners may request removal of their listing by contacting furfinds@outlook.com.

Sections 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 16 of these Terms survive termination.

16. General Provisions

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and FurFinds regarding the Platform and Services and supersede all prior agreements.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Waiver: Failure by FurFinds to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of FurFinds’ right to enforce it in the future.

Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without FurFinds’ prior written consent. FurFinds may assign these Terms without restriction.

Modifications: FurFinds reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email or by posting the updated Terms on the Platform with a new effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
