FurFinds (“FurFinds,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a pet-friendly business verification platform operated by Luxurious Oasis LLC. We help pet owners find trusted, verified businesses and services across the United States.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights with respect to that information. It applies to all information collected through our Platform (furfinds.app), our business waitlist and application forms, our email communications, and any other services we operate (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing or using the Platform and Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

We collect information you provide when you:

• Create an account on the FurFinds platform
• Sign up on our waitlist as a pet owner or business owner
• Complete a business verification application
• Contact us by email or through the Platform
• Subscribe to our newsletter or email updates
• Make a payment for any paid features or services

This information may include your name, email address, business name, business address and contact information, your business’s pet policies and pet-friendly practices, links to your website and social media profiles, payment information processed through secure third-party payment processors, and any other information you choose to provide.

2.2 Information We Collect Automatically

When you visit the Platform, we may automatically collect certain technical information including your IP address and approximate geographic location, browser type and version, pages visited and time spent on those pages, referring website or link, and device type and operating system. This information is collected through standard web server logs and analytics tools such as Google Analytics.

2.3 Information We Collect from Third Parties

As part of our business verification process, we may collect information about businesses from publicly available sources, including Google Search, Google Maps, Google Business Profiles, social media platforms, and news or press coverage. This information is used solely to verify that a business meets our pet-friendly standards.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate and provide the Platform and Services and their verification features
• Process business verification applications and assign verification tiers
• Send welcome emails, application status updates, and verification decisions
• Send newsletters and marketing communications you have opted into
• Process payments for any paid features or services
• Respond to your questions, requests, and communications
• Maintain the security and integrity of the Platform
• Improve the Platform and develop new features, products, and services
• Enforce our Terms of Service and other policies
• Comply with applicable laws and legal obligations

FurFinds may use automated technologies, including artificial intelligence, to assist in evaluating information submitted by businesses and publicly available information. All final verification decisions are made by FurFinds.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

Service Providers: We work with third-party service providers who help us operate the Platform and Services, including email delivery, website hosting, and payment processing providers. These providers may access your information only to perform services on our behalf and are required to protect it.

Verified Business Directory: If your business is approved for verification, your business name, location, verification tier, and pet-friendly information may be displayed publicly on FurFinds. You consent to this public display by submitting a verification application.

Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of FurFinds, our users, or the public.

Business Transfers: If FurFinds is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer period is required by law.

• Waitlist information is retained until the waitlist closes or you request removal
• Business application information is retained for the duration of your relationship with FurFinds and for a reasonable period thereafter
• Email marketing information is retained until you unsubscribe
• Technical log data is retained for up to 12 months

When information is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize it securely.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our Platform may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Platform and Services. Cookies are small text files stored on your device.
