Sample post 3: delete before launch

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

This is a sample post. It is here so the blog page is not empty while you are testing, and so you can see what a real post will look like. Delete it whenever you like.

What a post can contain

Ordinary paragraphs like this one. A post reads best when the first line says what the reader will get out of it.

  • Bulleted lists
  • For anything that is genuinely a list
  • Rather than three short paragraphs in a row

Headings break a long post up

Use a heading roughly every few paragraphs. Somebody scanning on a phone reads the headings first and decides from those whether to read the rest.

Every post also has a Description, which is what shows in the blog listing, and separate SEO fields for the title and description that search engines use. Fill those in and a post works much harder for you.

Ideas for real posts

  • What earns a business each tier, in plain language
  • A verified business, and why it passed
  • What to ask a hotel before you book with a dog
